Managing my life in uncertain times

Mobility for young people "Managing my life in uncertain times"
09/01/2021 – 02/01/2022
Sofia, Bulgaria
46 participants from 8 European countries – Bulgaria, Romania, Cyprus, Ukraine, Serbia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Georgia

The project was developed by youth and members of NGOs from 8 countries who want to return to the normal rhythm of life and cope with the stressful situations that many of us faced during the pandemic.

Why do we do it?
Uncertainty is all around us, never more so than today. Whether it's a global pandemic, the economy, health or relationships, much of what lies ahead in our lives has proven extremely uncertain over the past year. And people crave some kind of security - especially young people. They need to feel safe and have a sense of control over their lives and well-being.

What is the main purpose?
The purpose of this project is to empower young people with hope, motivation to fight, to cope, to realize that there are ways and tools to use to deal with uncontrollable circumstances, to relieve their anxiety and to face the unknown with more confidence. The Youth Exchange will show young people that uncertainty is a natural and inevitable part of everyone's life in the last year.
